I have a 2008 ext cab silverado, all stock, and was looking to add on some more power than what its got stock.

I was going to add a volant cai, magnaflow catback or just muffler, and a decent tune (either handheld or professional tune).

with just these mods what should my truck run in the 1/4 mile or 1/8th mile?


is it worth throwing a supercharger on it for more power? meaning id hope at least to be in the low 13s in the 1/4 mile with all these mods with charger?is that realistic?

 

Yes it is realistic, but plan on your tranny taking a on you. I would go with the exhaust, CAI, and tune. Then look into beefing up your tranny internals and adding a stall converter. With those you should be in the 14s(assuming you have a 5.3 2wd...)

Well, a lower gear ratio (like 4.10) would be one of your most noticeable seat of the pants mods

 

spray it. i'm prayin a 100shot on my fully stock 07 ext cab 4x4 and its dropped it into the low 15s
