My wisecos have 18 or 19 cc dishes and with 74cc heads that puts me at 9.3:1 with a .05 HG I believe(its either .05 or .054 cant remember). Wiseco can make you whatever dish you want, mine were totally custom pistons so if you went that route you could get the exact dish you need.

Most of the time, people with $10,000 engines don't need to.

I have a 10K engine so I can still run good at full weight and use my truck as a truck. I could accomplish the same thing for alot cheaper but not have any utility out of my truck. Some people value being able to hook up to the tractor and pull it to the farm and still get double digit gas mileage, unhook and click off an 11(hopefully 10) second pass

I like to have a truck that I can use as a truck, if I wanted all out speed I wouldnt have started with a 5K# brick

I'll keep an eye on the setup. I'm looking forward to seeing a truck run 10s on a small cam and a huge shot of gas. Not much different from what I'm trying to accomplish, only I'm still on my old faithful $950 motor.

You got to realize though we are working with two trucks at totally different ends of the spectrum. I could put my drivetrain in a truck like yours and run a mid 10 probably but I like my comfy ride, 4wd and be able to carry the GF and a buddy with his date etc. Im going to run this truck for a while then when the NNBS ccsb Dmaxs come down in a price a bit this truck is gone, Im tired of wrenching on ****, I know Ill take a big hit in the pocket book but I dont really care anymore.

Im guessing you finally got a 60e to last? You really ought to think about swapping to an 80e, once you get rolling the 80e flat out pulls. You might have noticed that people gain 3-4mph in the 1/4 doing the swap with usually the same et.
