why does it have to be 50 posts before you can post items for sale?

 

50 posts or six months I believe. Its to keep people from joining just to sell something.

 

50 post of, 6 months on the site unless they changed it. It's like that because the it helps to build credibility for the sellers and not turn it into an open classifieds for anyone to sign up and use.

The 50 post minimum and 6 month requirement is to protect you...the classifieds are for our members not people who just pop in for free listing. It helps prevent scammers and ripoffs from taking advantage. It's not foolproof but it does help.
Personally I would never buy from somebody I didn't trust or know. 50 posts helps us get to know the seller.
