on this note, how do you delete a thread, say you accidentally started one and it totally sucks? or once its in the archives is it there forever? OH and how can you edit a poll?

Well technically even if you delete it, the Mods can still bring it back to life if they wish.

If you want to delete your own thread, just go into the thread and click on EDIT. Then at the top there is a spot that asks you if you want to delete the post and it states that by deleting this post will delete the entire thread because it is the first post.

oh well that makes sense, now my main question was how could you edit a poll? i understand this may not be allowed because someone could edit it and negate all the voting results up to that date but my last poll i made a typo and couldnt find a way to fix it
