Need a faster server

One tip I always recommend after typing a long reply is this. Once done with your reply highlight the entire thing and hit Control-C(Copy). That will copy the text to the clipboard. That way it will be on your computer if something bad happens and all you have to do to recover it is hit Control-V(Paste). That has saved me from retyping a big reply several times over the years.

one positive thing from the "server busy" messages..is that it just goes to show how many ppl are getting on here and either posting or at least reading.
However, to upgrade this server or whatever it is to make it work better (since i have NO idea what im talking about, lol), if this all costs money... maybe there should be a small one time fee to get this up and going better... hell, one dollar from everyone might be enough...
So what exactly needs to be done to make the server be able to handle 1000+ people at one time? Brains, care to elaborate?

Its not a money issue. Our server is more than capable of handling this site and ls1tech. Its a software issue, as VBB isn't designed to handle this much traffic easily. Unfortunately, VBB is the best software available right now. So, the slow software makes it appear that the server has problems.
