Default Locking old for sale threads

I know on some other sites in the parts classifieds section once you sell everything in your thread or find what you need in a WTB thread, your able to close/lock your thread to prevent it to keep being bumped up. I think that would be something that would be handy to keep the site cleaned up from old for sale/wtb threads from being bumped back up.

Or just edit your first post saying sold. We dont have the manpower to lock everyones threads.

I think he was asking if we could have the power to lock our own threads. I do like this idea.

Im pretty sure on other sites the person who created the post has the ability to lock his own thread. Just a thought.

I know on dieselplace you can but for whatever reason PT is behind on the vbulletin add ons. We dont even have a lot of the features that Tech does, so I wouldnt bet on it. Id say your best bet is just to edit your original post in your for sale thread and simply put sold there, so the original info isnt there for someone to read and bump.

I just did it on one of mine , it was in the miscellaneous section though.

EDIT Just checked, works in miscellaneous, does not work in parts.

Doing this should work though
