I know some other sites have this, and i like it. They have a thing on the bottom of the main page saying whos currently on the site, by screen name. Any thoughts?

 

We used to have that here, but as far as I know it affects the speed of the site so the Admins agreed we're better off without.

Yes, it is a huge resource hog when you get a couple thousand people on at once. It may get turned back on once some significant upgrades are made to the software but, there is no projected date for that upgrade at this time.
