I've been told we are not allowed to have links or even a url that is not linked in our signatures. I've had mine removed on several occasions, so I ask why do people like the below get to keep theirs if this is such a huge violation?

Not trying to be a snitch because I dont believe in that, but if you're going to enforce rules and preach about the rules why are they only applied to certain individuals?

if they dont I wish they'd just come out and say it so I know why they target me. I dont really care, but this was brought to my attention by someone else so I decided to inquire about it.

Uhhhh....it's a link to a picture site. Where is that competing with this board and our site sponsors. As a bussiness, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE THE RULES AND ENFORCE THEM AS WE SEE FIT!!!!! I'm not going to make a rule for every damn possible situation out there. You signatures have been removed due to direct conflicts withe the guidelines. The guidelines are not set up for EVERY POSSIBLE SITUATION. They are that way so violations can easily be tied to the rule. It seems YOU AND ONLY YOU have the problem. Everybody else can and does abide by the site guidelines without making a huge issue of it. Are you the spokeperson for the underground members that just won't say anything? Speak up whoever has a problem with them. I can tell everybody this though, these guidelines were written with input from members and moderators of this site and when wew were over at Tech. They represent the majority of what people have agreed on. As soon as you get say 2,000 or so memebers to say they are UNFAIR with a detailed explanation, then you can get back on your soapbox, but until then the issue is closed. I've never had a problem with you personally or face to face so that is not the issue. Some of the other mods may have, and if I find out they are targeting you just because of a personallity conflict, I will deal with it in private. But that is a two way street also, so keep that in mind when you reply to this or start a thread just to "rock the boat".
