I have seen replies to threads I am subsribed to as well as gotten PM's and get no e-mail notification. Anybody else?

 

I could be wrong, but I believe Email notification is shut off. Go into your subscription options and set it for no notification. What that will do is set things up so all you have to do is click on your user CP button when you get on. All your subscribed threads will be listed there when you open it up....

 

it's shut off unless you check each thread, or if you goto the user options, you can have it turned on for each thread that you reply to automatically.

 

Thats how I've had it for the past year+. But recently I have not gotten any emails.

Is there a new way to set it up? Or should I be getting them since I already had it setup?

 

I juuuust got one, so they should be working if you have them set up that way.

 

Double checked. All my settings say Instant email notification. I havent got an email about a thread reply or PM since Thursday morning.

I got an email this morning 7/28 @ 830 for a PM I got two days ago.

Seems there is a pretty big lag.....Did the site install a big turbo on the server?

 

Fed the server some Metamucil.
