Default cant get in classifieds

i was going to try and post a WTB thread in gm classifieds area..... well im not aloowed or disabled etc etc whatever that screen says.....

just wondering what it takes to be able to post in there?? how many posts do i need to have etc etc

You have to have at least 50 posts or have been a member for 6 months.

like having 50 posts makes someone less of a crook?

No it doesn't but, it gives a chance of possibly finding them before they rip someone off. Also keeps some scammers from even worrying about this site when they can just go somewhere else and get right to the classifieds.

How does more post help in finding them if they rip someone off?

Plus if they want to get to 50 post quickly they may just post a bunch of nonsense to get there. If we see people like that we can watch them closer or adjust their post count and/or user status.

btw, who started this site and who are the original members? You one of the most tenured members on here as well as a moderator/adminstrator. Is there a chain of command or heirachy with the moderators? Sorry if this is off topic but I've wondered who started this site?
