Default XR275HR...222/224 .566/.568 112LSA Is this a good way to go

what do you guys figure, i want some more power and think this is a good cam for my dd ss, my mods are in my sig. please let me know what you think. any advice would be great

should work great with that converter. I went a little big now i need a bigger converter. But your on the right track

it's a nice cam . . . the power hits like a light switch at 3,200. I had it in my old 6L, and again later in a 5.3

thats the same cam i was planning to go with for my SS except for a slight difference in the lift. definitely need to upgrade your springs and rods at the same time as well. Tex-speed has cam packages that come with it all three, then pick up a gasket kit and you should be good to go. im going to go ahead and replace my oil pump at the same time because my truck is nearly at 100k so i figure it will be a good preventative maintenance move. also considering larger injectors and a fuel pump in the near future. g/l with the swap!

sounds good ill check those guys out, i like how we built are trucks at the same time with pretty much the same parts haha.
