I need 4wd but thought would post this as a courtesy to anyone looking for a
reasonably priced 2wd. At least it seems like quite a good deal, see for yourself.

That Buy It Now price is pretty much what you can get a 2007 for, unmolested, brand-new, if you know how to deal.

Nice Truck. I highly recommend the 06 model. Insurance is lower because it is not classified as a SS. I really enjoy mine.

Not that stellar of a deal. New, leftover AWD '06s were being sold for less on dealer lots (I know, I was close on another loaded AWD '06).

Hmmn. Depends on your frame of reference. Up here in Canuckland, the loaded SS were going for 55 k Cdn this summer due to a shortage in supply, and even now, the dealer cost on a loaded version is 47k Cdn. There is a 2500 Cdn rebate going on now, but the dealers around here are trying to keep most of that.

So seeing the price range of 29-35 k down south for these, with the exchange rate currently around 12%, definitely has me scratching my head.

Oh well, thought I would put it out there for you 2wd capable folks .

Yup. I didn't pay a whole lot more for my brand new '07 a little over a week ago.
