CHP did a nice test on various tires on the stock rims They ran some 305/50 and some stock sizes. The 305 BFG's did very well however BFG stated that if they were on a wider rim, they would do even better.

I would suggest CalTracs, maybe some spring clamps, shocks made for launching (50/50's or maybe 60/40's), stickier tires and a lighter foot.
Lighter feet suck when your racing and wanna launch hard. I dont have the liberty of all wheel drive. I dont want a drag only truck so probably wont go with the shocks. (90/10) (some adjustable would help though) Cal-tracs seem like a good deal though. that is what my question was about was suspention add ons.
