Stripping a Rengency Rst
#51
FYI, i put a hide-a-hitch on and kept the rollpan. i pull a 23 ft boat and 24 ft closed car trailer with it. its a direct fit just have to remove the exhaust bushing and get a hitch exstender. ill post some pix and i removed the decals which attracts more attention. if u want to sell the back brakes set-up im interested.

The brand name is hiddenhitch and I payed $200. I bought mine about 4 years ago so idk what they go for now. Only thing that sux is that you have to keep your spare tire in the back of your bed.

I'll have to check it out, I don't use my spare anyways... Looks so much cleaner without it hangin down past the rollpan.. Or in the bed lol.. plus even if u did get a flat u can't get ur lug nuts off bc the factory tire iron won't fit, u need a thin wall 13/16" impact socket

Ya I got a stupid deal , $10,500 out the door with 32k miles on it . Spend months looking for a reg cab v8 , found this , drove it , bought it . Everyone has got away from the fact its just a truck . It started its life a V8 w/t then had a conversation package put on . Its not numbered not documented or anything . I guess no one should mod a regency van either huh ?

I couldn't care less about the Regency name or the RSTs; they do conversion vans, not performance stuff. But you are purposely putting some effort into making a nice truck less nice; it seems you could keep it nice and still use it as a truck, or swap with somebody who will. That's all.
