Its just the 1/3 that comes on the rst trucks but when I looked at the spare yesterday it looked like it had a spacer on it for the calipers. The
rims / tire combo the previous owner put on rubs and I want them off .

Give us accurate tire and brake sizes and we'll give you exact answers

Your current tire sizes, brake sizes, and spare size will help answer this question without a doubt. If your brakes really are no bigger than 13," a 17" wheel will clear without a doubt unless you have some monster calipers.

OK , 265/50r20 on truck now the spare is a p235/65r17 and the rotors are 14" on all for corners . the spare has an 1 1/2 " spacer on it so im guessing that a factory 17" rim wont clear the calipers . iv crawled all around the rim trying to find any info on it and cant .

But the tires stick out about 2" outside the the wheelwell on all for corners , i can see where they have rubbed the top lip of the well and have rubbed a nice hole thru the plastic liner inside .

Iv thought about it and i might but theres no point . I know its a rare truck but its not why i bought it , it has a good home weekly wash , monthly wax , garaged every night and will be cared for very well ! Not taking or modding anything i cant put back just keeping it on the down low so it dont end up in a metal container shipped out the country never to return .

Very little. Put your spare on up front, keep turning back and forth to see how much clearance you have for larger tires. Also ask the question regarding tire sizes with your drop in the general section or something (I can't help you with that, I'm not dropped) to see what size tires will fit your drop. The spare will also give you an idea how much clearance you need beyond factory. I think an 18-inch factory wheel would be perfect.
