it's called a rubber eraser wheel i think it's a little tool for your drill just ask the guy at the counter he'll tell ya

using a heat gun and peeling them off slowly may end up being less labor intensive in the long run. The eraser wheel is fairly small and makes quite a mess... But whichever route taken, its gonna be a chore to get them off completely

Here is my red GMC without stripes, it's not an RST but it looks damn near that same. I think it looks pretty good a it, but I have always thought about painting soem stripes on there.
