Could somebody help me out here. I need the last 8 vin numbers of an 2006 SS 2WD truck so I can compare the shocks to my ECSB Vortec Max truck. It's a long story but I can't get correct application information from any of the better shock companies. My truck just doesn't exist to them. It's basically an SS without the badging and trim but in order to find out what the GM part numbers are I need a 2006 2WD SS Vin.

I can understand why some people might be a little nervous about posting their Vin (last8). How about calling the dealer and getting the part numbers for front and rear shocks. It would be greatly appreciated. I have tried four different dealers and they all tell me they need a Vin to get me part numbers.
