The suspension was optioned as Z60 & it was dropped 2".
Scott is right, there's no such thing as an 02 Silverado SS, not here in U.S. SS emblems can be bought, & they're not cheap for the real emblems. There's no special hood or hood scoops on it. How the VIN comes up as an SS is beyond me. No 6L n it, no SS.

And it certainly had color matched mirror caps, handles & so on. And no Esky wheels.

IDK what Canada has that we don't, but ...
It's just a regular 2WD ECSB, nothing more. SS's didnt even come out prior to '03 body style, barring the 454SS nor come in Pewter. Silver Birch was the closest to that color, but that was a later color intro. And it 1st came out as AWD originally, later that changed. And also when 1st made, only Black, Red, & Arrival Blue. Last one is best color.

Bogus!

It very well could have been a 2002 Silverado SS, only thing is it would more than likely be from south of the border and be an 400 SS. They were available with a 5.3L and were basically just a sticker package, but they did get painted bumpers and stuff like that. They even had some NBS GMT-800 series trucks still available with the older 5.7L engines.

Not saying this is what it is, but if the owner was insistent that it was an original SS, that’s the only way I can see it being so.
