SS Steering Box vs Regular Silverado?

I recently purchased a silverado SS Roller and am robbing some parts from it for my new truck. I have some steering issues and was going to rob the gearbox from the SS truck. It is visibly different in shape but will bolt in normally. Can anyone let me know the difference? Maybe faster ratio or stiffer steering? Thanks a bunch in advance!!

2003 silverado 1500 4x4 work truck. I got the one off the SS truck but ran out of time on the other truck, will swap in the am and see if my issue is cured!
