lol i believe it...they probably just didn't want to sell it to you though honestly...you don't have a RST truck right? without an RST truck you're better off going to an aftermarket site i think stylintrucks.com has em for like $160.00 which is probably like 1/8 of the price you woulda payed at the dealership

RST wing Spoiler.... Hi gusy need some help, I can buy a RST Wing in perfect condition, the only thik is my truck is a 2008 Silverado New Body, and the Wing comes off a GMC 2005, my question is, will fit on my 2008 Chevy, or will I have to do some work to make it fit?

Tailgates are totally different. It may not take MUCH work (and then again, it might take alot) but its def. gonna need SOME kinda work done... I think the newer trucks are a little wider as far as the tailgate goes, so it may just need some widening... might still be the same basic shape as far as how it mounts.

Thanks for the info...NyteSnyper ...I think you are right, I have a RST wing on my truck now, its from a 2004 RST Silverado and it just dont fit right, I tried everything to make it fit .... it bows in the middle the 3m tape won't hold it.....again thanks for the info......

No problem, I work in a body shop, so i get to see my share of vehicles and what kinda changes they make year to year, and im pretty sure with the new bodystyle, the tailgate is just bigger in general (thickness, width, etc). Now i have seen the new RST's, and the spoiler looks the same, but i bet they had to do some fudgin to the mold to get it to work.

NyteSnyper, again I am sure that you are right, because I just came from a Chevy delear and thay have a black one its sweet, and I look at the tailgate and its just what you say: The thickness and width is just a bit bigger. The guy with the wing is asking $300, and I guess if i give it to a bobyshop it maybe another 2, 3 hundred dollars...Like i said I have a RST wing on my truck already, but it just dont fit right....will I guess I will keep on looking....Again Thank NyteSnyper....
