But I would like to know what all I would need for a T-56 swap.
The transmission itself, the front shift kit, a new driveshaft. What about all the wiring? And the crossmember? Will I be able to use the stock one..?
I used a White Lightning mid-shift kit on my t-56 and they just welded the origional shifter back on it so i could keep the jump seat. I'd point u to the company where i got mine at, but i dont recommend them. American powertrain is the company and they will sell u everything u need to do everything if u want it brand new. Be prepared for drop at least $5k on it... I have about $7k in mine so far and im still working out the **** ton of bugs with it...

Which on that topic, Red... The place that did the swaps gonna take the tranny out and finally turn the clutch slave to the proper position and bleed it right, and then they need to look at the driveshaft cause something is damn loose and vibrating like hell... PLUS, they dont know this yet but im pretty sure they screwed up the brakes or something is wrong with the master slave cause the ABS after all these tunes is still screwed up AND its just getting worse... I cant even powerbrake if my life depended on it... I feel like im in my semi having to stop 1/2 a mil ahead of time, lol... Minor exaggeration

I put 4.10's in mine when i had my 5 speed. Loved it! Made a HUGE difference, just dont be surprised if ur gas millage goes down... NOt because ur running at super high rpms, but because ur foot gets alot heavier when u use it

cool, i was thinking 3.90, but didn't know if they would be to short. mine falls on its face until you get about 3000 rpms, kinda feels like turbo lag lol

So iv read some online about getting winter rims and tire but cant find a defined answer. Im going to take off my
aftermarket 20" to get powder coated so I found some of the 05-06 17" star shaped Silverado rims for sale to put on while waiting . Iv got the big bear rotors on all 4 corners but no caliper covers , the spare that came on it is a 17" but looks like its never been used so i might try to pull it an put it on . Anyone run smaller rims ? Thanx guys !
