So i havent posted in a while... I thought id tell u guys whats the latest news. I just got the Edelbrock cam in the other day (WOOT)!!! So I should have it installed soon (no idea when ill get around to it)

For those that have or may know about Electronic cut outs... as u all know of where i live (Erie, pa) we get bad winters and they put REALLY bad salt on the roads. Would u think they would last if i put them on and drove it over the winter, or do u think they'd corrode and be junk by next spring???

i would remove the actuator and cap it for the winter months and you shouldnt have anything to worry bout.

Hey guys got another question for ya...

I cant remember who told me but someone said itd be a good idea when changing ur cam to up grade the timing set to an LS2 set...

My question is... Should i upgrade the entire set? or should i just upgrade the chain to the LS2 timing chain?

yeah, if your talking about your timing chain set. you can find a ls2 timing chain set pretty cheap now a days. the set will come with a new crank gear, double roller chain, and cam gear. just make sure when you buy one that it states it will fit under a stock non-ls2 timing cover.

Yeah I haven't posted in a while either, I haven't done anything. Cam still sitting around fans and harness still in the corner. Haven't had much time at all to screw with it. Took the spoiler off to have the stripes painted on. Looking for a set of winter wheels now.

17's fit if you take the caliper covers off right? Thought I read that somewhere.

17's will fit over the front calipers. look at your spare, it should be a 17" steelie.

Did the RST come with some custom floormats too? I have some heavy duty plastic ones now. Just wondering.
