Default Regency RST

Just stopped at the Chevy dealer and they have 2 RST trucks. One is red with black stripes and the other is white with black stripes. Both are autos and have the 5.3L.

The first salesman that aproached me tells me that the truck has 380HP, Intake, polished headers and a chip I called BS immediately and he said I'll be right back. Then another salesman comes out with keys and starts tellin me the truck has 365HP, 6.0L vortech MAX has bigger injectors etc.. I asked him if he could prove the truck has 365HP and I point to the 5.3L sticker in the engine. compartment Then all of a sudden we walk by the owners son and the salesman asks him the HP rating of the truck and he says 380hp

After trying to BS me about the HP rating and providing no proof of what the truck actually has I figured I could find someone on here that knows whats up with these trucks.

They are asking 35,000 for the truck.. If someone on here has one of these It would be nice to hear what you have to say...

I own one, and i'm a chevy salesman at a dealership that has a black and white one......

Thank god I don't work at the dealership that talked to you. It's a 5.3 with headers, cold air intake, and an exhaust. It has ssbc brakes on the front. foose wheels, custom front valence, rear roll pan, and a spoiler. Depending on what package the trucks at the dealership have, there's an interior kit too. Where are you located?

I like the look of the truck alot, the interior is sweet but the salesmen are either dishonest or completely stupid. I will probably endup looking for one out of state for obvious reasons.

Yeah thats about right. They are so big that they have too many "analysist" that tell them what to do. They aren't smart enough to just build a RCSB SS and offer it with a 6.0 with a T56 or 4l80e. They have to get difficult. Chevy is popular because of the cheap, high HP cars in the late 60's. They think they have to have expensive performance vehicles to be popular now. They are just such dumbasses.
