Default JG Trans issues?

I have an 05 gibbs Silverado which was purchased without the blower and the dealer sent off to Gibbs and did the install. First trans failed at 16k or so, rebuilt at dealer, second one grenaded and locked up at 35k or 40k and was replaced with reman under chev exended warranty. 50k now and it's doing that thing it does before tranny fails.

In the morning, I back up a tiny grade in my driveway. It feels like something's stuck and I have to give more and more gas, feels like I'm fighing the brakes or something. When I go to drive, all is fine, shifts normally. Showing no codes.

When I was bitching to GM, some cust svc guy read me a memo about these trucks eating trannies, even gave me a memo description and date, sometime early Dec. 2005 memo. Dealer was superbly incompetent and uncooperative.

Any thoughts from the group as to what's happening or a possible fix, next trans will be my dime probably.

Either get a built aftermarket tranny for it, or have it converted to an 80e. Unfortunately the 60e tranny is a weak link with stock parts.

FLT makes a level 5, 6, & 7 trans that I have been told holds up very well against the Radix blower, I'm looking into the FLT myself
