Default Dyno Pulls

Has anyone done a dyno pull with their awd trucks on a rear wheel only dyno? If so, how did you do it? The only shop in town that is capable does not have an AWD dyno.

Yes you can dyno the truck with the front drive shaft pulled out, just do not drive the truck with out it, and DO NOT have the rear tires at full stop while the trans is in gear. If you do you will hear the viscous coupler do funny things. I suggest that you put the trans in neutral when coming to a stop from a dyno pull. Many SSS owners have done this with out problems. The only ones that have had problems are the ones that pull the front driveshaft to go out and do burnouts and drive on the street. they usually end up needing a new TC

Probably a silly question here, but rwhp would be higher than awhp would it not?
If so, what would be the point of rear wheel dynoing, even for tuning?
