well i wasn't the one with the jack under the leaf springs...your right that would be stupid...i had the jack stands up underneath the rear crossmemeber and the jack was under the pumpkin but whatever no point in arguing over it now...it's back together and all is well

I think there is definitely a point in arguing. You made a blatant statement that "...first off though...it is NOT a 45 minute job...took 2 days & ended up bringing it to a shop."

That's not true and it may discourage others from doing a shackle swap.

And you shouldn't need a jack during the swap, just before and after when you're unbolting everything.

Yea i knew we had the 2nd hole. I just installed caltracs on my rst 3 weeks ago. It was an 8hr job with 2 people, which included swapping out the front hangers.
