I have put 10psi of boost into the new 2007 GM trucks with no issues at all, now I wanna pull one back into the shop, just to see what the intake is doing under boost. (Looking like a balloon I would imagine)

no but i belive the tbss/ssr intake will. i bought one off a member on here and the looked at the pics of l92 truck intake and they seem to be identical on the top end. im guessin that all gm did was change the bottom end of the intake to match the different ports from the ls1/ls6/ls2 to the l92. but im not 100% on that. all i know is that i put a ssr/tbss intake on my truck and it was a night and day difference. check out the posts toward the bottom of the page. starting at post 494.

wow-how did I miss this! great data/info.

I am in the same boat, DD...but I am going for more cam. How is the tuning of these heads?? did it take alot or are they pretty easy to tune?

I am looking at the livernois STG II cam:
230/236 .590/.600 @114.

But I really dont want to go over .600 lift with those bigass valves and 918's

I see now, its the ports on the bottom that are different. I have an LS2 TBSS intake and it definatly looks different from the bottom.

also, today i retuned for the ssr/tbss intake, 90mm and 42# injectors. the setup got me 15rwhp and the intake was still pulling at 5800rpms.

15whp for $610 and the cost of #42 injectors? doesn't seem worth it

i dont know how much you would gain from a fast 90 setup. but to me it was worth it to not have to move all the accessories around. that and im gonna be goin to a bigger cam with flat tops and some head work. so im hoping that it will give me alittle more.

plus the intake carried the hp band and the toruque band futher out. ill get the graph it loaded up tomorrow. but the curves almost macth the stock intake, until you get to 4800rpms. thats where my other intake quit on me. but this one carried more torque and the hp was still climing at 5800rpms.

so to me yeah it was worth it. to everyone else it may not be. i just like to pass on as much info as i can.
