The SSR in stock form weighs 4,700 pounds, roughly the same weight as a SCSB. I do believe I can get the weight down a little. The engine, 6 speed and 14 bolt eaton rear axle are all real strong to say the least. It would be a great transplant for a SCSB 2WD.

helll ya its just gettin ahold of that . the cost must be thru the roof anf perople would rather do a 408 build . i love those trucks though man . never got to drive one , whats it like driving a up to date elcamino , but handles like a camaro ?
