Default how to identify a Gen IV rod?

Do Gen IV rods have any kind of casting number or marking on them?

I found these but they do not have any castings or markings besides some laser etched or inked numbers. You can see it in the first picture.

Can anyone identify these?

Those are GEN 4 rods.

Here is a side by side of the much smaller GEN 3's.

Thanks man, I appreciate the quick response.

So, they do not have any casting numbers or markings on them?
Did they ever have any casting marks?

The quick answer is the strong rods are square on both sides.
