Default Rebuilding an 06 LS2

My LS2 spun some main bearings like they all do in Trailblazer SS. I got a new crank, and still have the rods and pistons. We are going to rebuild it. I need to know what are the best bearings, piston rings that will be opened up for boost, and what all needs to be studded. The crank is good but should we polish it and match the rotating assembly to the lightest piston and robs combo? Thanks

First thing first, get the block checked and see if it is serviceable or junk. Spinning mains is an expensive repair, whether the block is scrap or not. They might be able to line hone it, but gotta ask first.
