Default It was a long weekend.....

But I slapped a shiny new red intake of sorts on my Silverado!

I've used a tune from the repository, had to make a couple changes for the gears, but it'll do until I receive the file from Whipple.

Started on Thursday, with many more parts than I expected

I Like the red powdercoat, I hope it stays nice!

Installed after about 12 hours of work... 5mm capscrews are now my worst enemy

so far, so good!

So far, it's pretty neat! I havent really gotten on it too much, I just want to run one more tank of 93 through it to make sure it's good to go. I pulled a tune off Hptuners site for the Whipple, and it seems to work pretty well until Whipple gets back with the tune specifically for my truck.

Very nice! What size is that?

You mean the cap screws under the fuel rail?

Yeah, tedious is an understatement when it comes to tightening those 5mm capscrews. an allen wrench with the ball end helped, as well as a shortened allen wrench, but Damn.... Pain in the butt for sure!
