These pics are just some of the things I wanted to highlight for Whipple, because their instructions were a bit unclear at times, and I figured I could help some people in the future. I'll see if I can get some pics of the way the cooling system works in the near future.
It is a pretty slick setup. The aluminum tank mounts between the bumper and radiator support, below the grille, and fits like a glove. there's a pump that mounts with a t-bolt clamp to the bottom of the tank, which pumps the coolant around. The capacity of the system seems to be around 2.5-3 gallons and so far, my intake temps have been a couple degrees from ambient, so it appears that it works really well.

This is awesome! Great write up and supporting pics. Where did you purchase the blower from and how much was it? Did you order any upgraded options when you ordered?

I was cruising eBay, looking at pricing on the "tuner kit" for our trucks, seeing if I could find it for less than $6250 shipped. I then saw a red one at the bottom of the screen with the title "Whipple supercharger." Come to find out, it was a complete kit, never used for our model truck. I was like "Huh... That's neat lookin'... Oh! A buy it now price of $4925!!! SOLD!"
it was from a guy in Louisiana, the invoice just said "stage 2 custom color paint".
And carbon fiber jack shaft cover. Hell, it even came with a programmer!

That looks like the 2.9 blower.

The 2.3 pulley is in the center, whereas this one is off to the side.

Yeah, I was pretty excited about the price myself, and the added bonus of tuner, red paint and carbon fiber jackshaft cover sealed the deal. I think the most important part was the fact that I got it in three days.
I got in touch with Whipple, and they provided me with a tune I could use with HP tuners, so that was a great deal as well.
So far, I'm extremely happy with it. It feels weird to have such a heavy brick of a truck pull so damn hard on the highway!
