Glad to help. Keep in mind that it will be louder when you first put it on. Mine didnt quiet down until after a few hundred miles. Also to that video was taken on a flat road with no load and on cruise.

 

Thanks for posting this video, if you don't mind could I use it down the road when someone asks for a sound clip? That was a great representation of it sounds like. At cruise there is hardly any sound. Thanks for sharing.

 

No problem, very glad to help. When I first heard of the VT I wanted to try it. You guys make a great muffler. Im going to make some more and post them up.

 

Any dyno numbers versus say a Magnaflow? Is this similar to the mufflers on the Corvette? Anyway to maybe make an electronic cutout to dump straight off the muffler versus sending it through the muffler? Just curious, maybe like the Warlock muffler but better

 

was the rattle noise fixed? i was about to buy one then i heard the rattle they made, and it turned me away

 

I don't have dyno numbers but I do have a flow bench test data that was conducted. This muffler is similar to some muscle car and performance cars that is available on OE applications. Not too sure about an electronic cutout, I will have to send that up the chain of command. (Just did a quick search on an electronic cut out, I am aware of them and how they work but never looked at a cost of them, man those are spendy!)


Yes! Last year when we launched this muffler, the first batch that came out (spring/early summer 2010) was not up to our specifications so that issue was addressed and fixed. Since then I am not aware of any more rattles after that first batch. Thanks!
