I would find out why you're blowing up engines first.

cant really put a number on the question you posted, i mean you have to have an almost exact idea of what parts are going into the build to get a good idea of what the whole engine will cost. what are your expectations and what not?

if you plan on using the radix on the 6.0 it shouldnt be too much because the radix can only feed it to about 9-10lbs of boost.

i have no #'s to substantiate any claims, but...I bought a 6.0 off of BADMOFO(Tim) last year...it was expensive but no miles and a COMPLETE long block so I was able to sell off a few parts. Anyway, I have whats in the sig...probably weigh 400 or more than you, again no numbers but I am guessing a solid 12.7 with no meth. I am running 19* with 5.5#'s 3.0 pulley and no meth on right now. You could easily "build" a stock 6.0 for under 4 grand and that includes head work and a cam...IMO. Just gotta shop out that 6.0. With the 5.3 I was at 9.8#'s and with the 6.0 I went to 7.2ish#'s. I have lost some boost lost for some reason recently when I had an injector failure(shut off) at the top of a shift...so I am at 5.5#'s right now. There is plenty more in the motor IMO.

PM BADMOFO I believe he found a good spot to get his hands on 6.0's.

You should be able to do it cheaper than that. I just purchased all the parts for a short block, including cam and a double roller chain for a 408. I'm sitting at about 3k so far.
