The motor I sold Dewmanshu was a new 6.0L complete with injectors, intake, throttle-body, everything. It also had an ASP underdrive pulley, 212/218 high lift Comp Cam, 918 springs with Titanium retainers, chromoly pushrods, etc.....and I think I sold it for $3000 and included a new water pump and a couple other odds and ends....is that right Dew?? It was basically a $2000 motor with a $1000 in the valve train and pulley...give or take. Anyway, I would think that motor would be strong enought to handle all that the Radix can put out, or up to 550hp or so easily. That motor can/could be duplicated for that price I'm sure, or less, since you won't need the $200 pulley, and really wouldn't need the intake, injectors, throttle body, etc. I found my last one on Ebay, if anybody else is interested you can PM me for the seller's name.

LOL Thought I'd get your attention...running around here selling over priced 6 liters stacked with aftermarket parts already to fellow users!!!Shame on you! LOL

You got it! I replaced the cam with one in sig, put arp rod bolts in, then sent the heads to Gunnar and had them stage 2'ed, and then sold all the other stuff.

Yeah, that kinda surprised me. I basically sold the motor for what I had in it. I thought it was a deal, as people were buying "unknown mileage" motors at the time for $1500 or so, so $2000 for a new one that was COMPLETE seemed good to me when I bought it. I then spent about $1000 with Texas Speed, $225 for the pulley, $180 for the retainers, $399 for the cam, $100 for the pushrods, $40 for the gaskets and bolt, etc...I think I gave you the receipt from them. I just wasn't sure I was going to go that far with my Daily Driver. Now there is another one sitting on the floor.....hopefully this one gets put to use soon. This 5.3 runs so strong I hate to mess with it, but I know it's getting tired. I figure after this motor swap and my new interior I just did, I'll have damn near a new truck.... I feel sorry for the Breeze, hopefully it's not as hurt as he thinks.

BTW....I had a friendly warning from someone who thinks/thought I was trying to start a "side business" selling motors. Thanks to you I'm sure! I think you forgot to mention that this was well over a year ago, and it's the only motor I've ever sold in my life! I'm a buyer, not a seller! Although I do have a nice 99 Z28 for sale in the classifieds

HEARD that! You have another vehcile to use as your daily driver right? I thought I read that somewhere.

I only point people to you Tim cuz you definitely seem to find the deals on the motor...a year ago and recently. good luck Bryan!
