Default You buying tires locally?

Im looking to get a set of tires, 305/40/22. Just wondering if most people are buying locally, or if theres a (trusted) website out there. I know I can get them online cheaper than I can get them locally, its just I dont wanna pay to a shady website and get in the middle of a whole ordeal.

DiscountTireDirect. They are a sponsor here. I love using them. Fast shipping and great prices. they'll also price match if you find them cheaper.
Got my last 2 sets of tires from them as have many members.

I used them for my last set before I knew they were a sponsor. Tires were here in a couple days.

Discount tire is pretty awesome. Especially for a chain.

I had someone attempt to steel the wheels and tires off my truck. I didn't have a lug wrench or a reversed spline socket to put my lugnuts back on. I tightened them by finger and drove super slow about 4 miles down the road. The counter guy grabbed a reverse spline socket and a torque wrench and got me back on the road free of charge.

Thanks for the responses. I was just snoopin around different tire websites looking at brands/prices. I have to say DiscountTire does have the best line-up as far as name brand goes, but I found a couple sites that have a good tire ex: Toyo Proxes S/T for $25/tire cheaper. The thing I dont know is the reputation of the sites I found them on. I would try to do the price match as mentioned above, but it seems like DiscountTire only carries upper echelon brands. They have the best prices for the line-up they carry, its just they dont have a big selection.

This is what I found.....

I always.......ALWAYS shop Discount Tire (Local shops). I have had awesome luck with great prices. My tires are Yokohama Parada Spec-X 285/50/R20. Discount has always had the best price on these and usually have them in stock. Every time I have bought from them I spend less than 30 minutes waiting......usually around 15-20 miniutes. The guys down here are quick. They take great care of my rims and by request have always put the sticky weights on the inside of the rims. No outside rim weights or scratches from them. Discount has my buisness!

I buy all of my tires locally, and carry a print-out of Discount Tire's prices. They always price match for me.

There isn't a physical address of DTD nearby, so I buy from a local company for the free balancing, rotating, and road-side assistance.
