seems like a dumb mod from a performance aspect, if your in it for the bling and run 20's thats great for braking, but what real racer goes to huge *** rims???? 20's are retarded heavy, so why use them in the first place, something that fits in an 18" rim would make more sense, unless you plan on blingin around town on 20s year round (couldnt do that around here with the winter, snow and salt on the roads, and performance tires suck dick in snow) would suck to have to swap out brake parts every fall and spring when switch wheels for the summer/winter

How about an upgrade for stock rims, allot more peple have stock or stock size wheels, even though 20's look cooler most don't have them.
The way I look at it, if if don't make me go faster....or stop faster its second on my list of mods.

First off, looking great Tom!

I run stock wheels at the track, so I went with the Baer drilled/slotted DecelaRotors from TByrne. Just waiting on the rear set that Baer mispackaged and we'll have new brakes at all 4 corners. Definitely a huge improvement over stock!
That's one of the main reason to upgrade your brakes when running big wheels. The increased rotating mass definitely requires better brakes to get things stopped.
I'm a real racer, and I have a set of 20's for show, and a set of stock 16's for go. I was able to upgrade my brakes and still keep the use of the 16's at the track. See my post above.

looks very nice. How is brake fade on repeated hard stops and can you get the rotors slotted only?
Are 16 inchers really necessary?

It rides on 22s in the summer and 20s when the snow starts to fly. I use it as a tow vehicle and daily driver in the winter. What you say is true through, BIG wheels aren't fast. I'll give up a little power for looks once in awhile.
What suggestions are out there for 18" wheels? I"d be strongly interested in getting $$ quotes for systems to fit with 18" wheels. Rotors, calipers and SS hoses
