Default Will power seats from an 06 fit in an 02?

The leather on my driver's seat is burned(spotlight). i need to replace the leather or the seats. I found a complete interior out of a 2006 silverado crew cab in perfect condition for cheap. Will this be a direct swap? I'm pretty sure the buttons on the side of the seat look different but not sure about the plugs.

i can't help you with your question, but may i ask where you found these seats cheap? do you know of any more in our area for sale? i have the work truck model, so i have the lowest of the low grade seats and i'd like to upgrade to some nice leather buckets. PM me if you need to. thanks in advance.

let's define cheap. Cheap means less than having the leather redone. Plus, since they are from a 2006 the seats are better quality and the rear has the LATCH safety system for my kids carseats.

To answer your question I do beleive that it will NOT work with your 99-02 wiring, well as far as the electric controls go, though I could be wrong

i found out they WILL bolt up right. Still trying to figure out the wiring. Can't see why not. Maybe the plug on the harness isn't the same but seems to me if it has power and ground what else is needed right?

frankly i only want the rear seat and new leather on the fronts. figured it would be easier to just put new seats in, maybe not.

well I know 100% that they will bolt up, but the wiring Im sure wont work, because the way the wiring system works in the 99-02 is different then the 03-07, the 03-07 I heard that multiple things run on a single wire, while on the 99-02 every single function has its own wire, someone correct me If Im wrong

without any knowledge of the wiring, it would seem that ground and power are all that is needed. if they are heated seats there may be a litte more too it, but you could absolutely make it work. just may not plug directly together.

I was told by a guy on another board that the memory seat and heated seat is controlled by the bcm in the 03-06 and therefore won't work. Pretty sure the actual power functions will work though. He also said I should just get the foam and leather from 03-06 seats and put them on my 02 frames. Either way I think I'm gonna get the set I found. I'm sure W2W will make it work for me regardless. Gonna get a new carpet while I'm at it.

truck smells funky, lol
