Just wondering if they will fit....i wanted to borrow my friend's 22's for an upcoming car show.

 

Which tires? How wide are the rims? What's the offset?

If they are the lower profile 22" tires, they should work fine. The larger tires or a wider rim with the incorrect backspacing could cause them to rub a bit.

I would try bolting them on, then checking for clearances--especially when turning. Do all of this before you drive on them...turn the wheel lock-to-lock and have someone check all of the clearances for you.

I think that most 22" combos should fit fairly easily on a 3/5, but I would test everything out thoroughly before you ride on them!

 

Worst comes to worst and they don't fit,bolt them on when you get there and take some pictures of them so we can see.I've never seen a lowered new body on 22's

photoshopped. look at the rollpan and where the concrete meets the stones. if a 4/6 were that low i'd be tucking all the rubber on my 275/35's

 

That is photo shopped. Look at the ground underneith the roll pan. They didn't get that part of the picture matched too well. I have a 4/6 drop with 20s. Some 22s would fit. I don't think it would be good for daily driving, but they would fit.

That guy is from AZ, but I don't know who he is and have never seen the truck around at shows. I go to all of the big truck shows and have never seen him. Who knows??? It is a nice show truck though - I like the paint. (on the outside. the inside was kind of overkill)
