He said Im ignorant so he must be right. Wonder when GM will start taking factory 8 bolt rims and drilling the 6 bolt pattern in the same rim so they only have to make one kind of rim. We all know wheels take little to know stress, so a shaving of aluminum or in some cases none at all between lug holes is perfectly acceptable especially on a truck thats capable of carrying 8000 lbs + at 60 mph+ an hour over rough roads full of pot holes, sure that soft aluminum will hold up just fine.....

That being said a buddy of mine that owns a welding shop has welded up countless factory and aftermarket aluminum rims due to cracking, and those have alot more meat on them then those wheels in the first post. The rest of the wheels you posted are perfectly acceptable due tothem having a decent amount of material between lug holes.

Ya, no ****. When did they start making wheels round? Truck wheels don't need to be strong, the truck is only 4500-7500lb not counting load and only make 300-1000hp depending on who's truck. Throw some wooden wheels on it.

I have seen countless brand new wheels that the holes are only a sliver apart. The seat on one uni lug hole touches another one just like these wheels. Leaving only a sliver of metal between the two lug holes. Sorry I didn't find a perfect picture of that. Companies do it every day without any concern for being sued or hurting anyone because it is compleatly safe. That isn't taking into account that these wheels seem to be billet compared to the cheap cast wheels I am accustom to seeing.

Again yes you must be ignorant to think that this wheel is an issue given the pictures we can see. Ignorance is fine but intelligents is filling the holes of your ignorance by learning.

I can't find any pictures of wheels I am talking about because all of the truck wheels that are 5 and 6 multi lug generaly have center caps. I will make sure to take a picuture next time I seem some. My wheels have 2 holes that are less then 1/2" on the back side therfore the cones just barly touch but I can't get a good picture of it with the wheel on.

 

Here comes the stupidity and trash talk of more ignorance, I havn't cut any holes in the frame for weight.
