was just messin with you , i figured it had to be a dirt road or something of the likes. in your case id go with the matte or flat, a dirty shiny wheel is worse to look at than a dirty matte wheel..

I know you're joking. LOL.

I really like how the plastidip turned out. I just email the guy about trying to match that. What would you call it? Satin? Semi gloss?

In an earlier email he sent me a link to a website and told me to look it over for ideas. I did and I think I found a powder I like. Check it out:

USS-1522 BLACK JACK

What do you think? Pretty close?

I wanted to ask you guys something. In the pic he sent he just powdered the face of the wheel. I was thinking the entire wheel should be coated. Does it matter? What did you guys do?

I got an email back saying he only coats the front of the wheel and the back. He said it was a waste of time to coat whats covered up by the tire, but he would coat them for me if I really wanted him to.

He said he takes orders all week and then does all the work every Saturday. He'll order any powder from that site and it takes 2 days to get here. I'm going to try to get my wheels to him Tuesday. Then pick them up a week later. I told him I wanted to go ahead and go with Black Jack.

I hope they turn out good! Thanks for the help everyone!

Sweet!

I PayPal'ed him a deposit to go ahead and order the BlackJack powder. I'll get the rims dismounted on Monday or Tuesday and drop them off after. I should pick them up on the 7th or the 8th!

I've never had anything powdercoated before. I freakin stoked!

Default Yay!

I asked the guy powder coating my wheels to take a few pics of the process for me. I want to be able to update my trucks website.

Here are the pics he sent me.
