you also have to cut the top off the drive shaft swing bearing/carrier bearing mount so the cab can sit down...
also have to notch the very back of the cab if using a HD cab which is different than the non HD cabs
there are a few other things here and there but that is the main thing you have to do...
i can get into more detail if need be
but the wheel base is within a 1/2 inch!!

...the HD cab is totally flat on the bottom where yours humps up right behind your seat...
as far as space technically yes usable not really... i wish i could had gotten a non HD cab it would had made things ALOT easier... but couldn;t pass up the deal on the wrecked HD.. got the cab and 6.0L for cheap!!
That's some good info right there!! Didn't know the differences between those two cab configuration. Any chance you have a stock-pile of pictures from your build? That would be a great build thread!

X 2. We're not trying to discredit your work, just stating our personal preference something, Which is what a public forum allows us to do.

glad everyone is getting along this morning

and SPOOLIN,
i didn't really take alot of pics.. cause i would had NEVER dreamed it would had taken as much work as it did.. i thought it was gonna be more of a drop on deal.. boy was i wrong!!
i also didn't know there was a difference between the 2 cabs utill things started not fitting so well...lol
also forgot.. if you used a HD cab you have to change the radiator support because the HD's have a 3" body lift from the factory and it is built onto the radiator support... ask me how long it took me to figure that out... lets jut say i was ready to beat the truck with a bat cause i couldn't get it to sit on the frame straight...lol
