Whoring my Crew out....

truck looks good . , im sure he doesnt mind the comments, but when every other person says the same thing about not liking big wheels its like beating a dead horse... everyone is entitled to their own opinion but some things can get ran into the ground

BUT i also NEVER say anything negative about anyone's ride (look on any post i have) untill now when something negative was said to me 1st and this thread is not "do you like my wheels" i was just posting pics of a truck i worked really hard on.. i built this truck from 5 wrecked trucks and started with a EXcab frame from the salvage yard... i am proud of it.. so i posted pics

didn't your mothers teach you if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all?
if not then shame on here for not raising you with respect

I don't think anyone's beating a dead horse here either. The forum demographic is mostly based on performance so most people on here are gonna like lowered trucks on smaller tires whose function and mods are to go faster. There are not many trucks on here with powder-coated frames, chromed out suspension, Alligator seats, fiberglass dashboards, vinyl wraps, 30 inch spinners and 30 TV sets in the cab. So it's not surprising 5 people have commented on the wheels size being a bit big for their tastes. And isn't that why we share on here, so we can see what others do and see if we like it so we can do it with our own trucks?
Such as...
"Wow, that looks really good!! Where did you get those wheels and for how much"
"What's your suspension set-up that helped you cut those awesome 60 ft times!"
"How do you like your so and so from blah blah, would you recommend them..."
I didn't see anyone ripping him on his wheels, just making casual observations on their own tastes on how they like his truck. Nothing cynical or vicious about that.
i can take what i dish out... so if you (they) cant take what they dish out then maybe they should keep it to them selves???

And I think you should be proud of what you did, it's an awesome feat that you've accomplished that not many people themselves could do! Credit is due, absolutely. But recognition on a job well done and expecting everyone to like your styling tastes are two different things. So again, congrats, job well done, wheels are too big.
And respect is earned not given, you "dish-out" on everyone else's trucks because you don't like their opinions does not require me to garner you respect. Nor does talking about someone's mom as if you had any idea what respect means.

then you have to cut off the front mounting bracket for the extended cab fuel tank and remove the excab fuel tank as well... and make a new braket and get a fuel tank for a crew cab with the 5.5 bed..
you also have to cut the top off the drive shaft swing bearing/carrier bearing mount so the cab can sit down...
also have to notch the very back of the cab if using a HD cab which is different than the non HD cabs
there are a few other things here and there but that is the main thing you have to do...
i can get into more detail if need be

but the wheel base is within a 1/2 inch!!
