Default Who has done the aftermarket steering wheel

Anyone have lost the airbag and gotten a billet/half wrap steering wheel?

I'm thinking of going with a Billet Specialties peice, They make and adapter as well and its not that expensive.

One of my customers just put one of our steering wheels on his truck.

Here is a pic of the steering wheel on the truck:

Its a full billet Twisted Vista steering wheel in full polish. It goes on this truck:

do you have a constant airbag warning light on in the instrument cluster with the aftermarket wheel?

You can remove the fuse.

pulling the fuse doesn't disable the airbag system right? it just kills the warning light?

No problem. As far as I have heard, pulling the fuse just turns the light off, but I don't believe it causes any other problems.

pulling the fuse will disable part of the airbag system. just pull the light out of the cluster.
