Question where do buy hangers and a good pair of drop shocks

i have already got 2" shackles on my truck but im looking for some hangers to drop it down to 4". where can i buy a cheap pair of hangers and what are my choices on shocks to give me a good quilty ride? i am installing belltech springs in the front. also will ext. cab springs work on a reg. cab? i was told they would but instead od lowering it 3" it will lower it 2". is that correct?

That sounds correct for the front springs. They are the same but with the extra cab it weighs more and will lower it a little bit more. For the rear you could just get a different shackle, or you could look into getting some dearched leafs. They make 4" drop leafs for your truck, I think they are like $100... I had a set on my 97 Tahoe before I put airbags on it... It still rode nice a little rough, but nothing major. For shocks the Belltech ones are nice, but if you wanted something better. I would run the Racho 9000 adjustables...

In the future i would stay away from AIM products, they are some of the most poorly manufactered parts available. Belltech, DJM, Eibach, Hotchksis (spelling?), Western Chassis, and McGauties (spelling) are some of the better suspension manufacters right now.

glad they worked out ok for you, just giving you the heads up for the future, as well as anybody else reading this post
