I am starting to lean towards the 18" Cragar's. I wondering which tire would be better....a 285/50/18 or a 285/60/18 with a 2/4 drop to fill out the wheel well.

For that amount of money I'd get some custom wheels

285/60 is a 31.4" tire. On a 2/4 with a 9" wheel its probably going to be a bit much. A 285/55 would be about perfect.

I'd go with the the GM 20's. With a 2/4 drop they will fill out the wheel well better. I think the 275/55/20's are around 31.8" tall.

You don't think that the 285/55's would rub the inner fenderwells at all during like hard turns? If there are any pics of a truck with this setup I'd love to see it to compare. I have seen a few trucks on here with a 2/4 drop with 18's mounted with 285/50/18 tires, but if there are anymore please feel free to post.

And the Cragar's are $201.00 a wheel from Performanceplustire.com

i'd go with the gm 20s. but if you wanted a killer look, go with black american racing torque thrust 2s with a chrome lip.

What would be a good size tire for the 20's to fill out the wheel wells with a 2/4 drop, but still have a dcent amount of sidewall? Any pics would be appreciated.

I ran a 275/45/20 on my 05 with a 2/4. imo 275/55 is a bit much but have seen a few people do it.
