Default Wheel rub ( I know its a recurring question)

I've searched and still havnt found a direct answer yet. I'm going to run 20" Panther Juices which is 20x9.5 rim with a 275/45/20 series tire. Is there going to be a serious issue of wheel rub with a 4/6 drop. I cant remember tha spacing off the top my head. The rims have a 20mm offset I believe. I've seen the posts for larger tires rubbing on not as low drops or larger rims rubbing on lower drops but not a 275/45 with a 4/6 yet. I just want to know if Im going to be safe and if anyone has run these yet on a 4/6.

You will rub like a **** with that wheel/tire combo on a 4/6. You'd have to run 255/35/20 to even get away with those wheels on a 4/6.

thats what I was afraid of Maybe a 2/4 drop wont be that bad looking. I would even hate to ask if wheel spacers would ever help prevent a little of that rub.

Wheel spacers would only push the wheels out farther and make it worse.

Its partly my own fault for just ordering a cheap priced tire at the moment. Hankook 275/45/20's they are a great looking tire. I guess I massage the front fenderwells a tad, lol.

Well I'm deciding on a 4/6 or 2/4 and getting some 255/35/20's like someone suggested. How many of you are running with upgraded brakes and rotors right now? I'm going to do that eventually but was curious how many arnt doing that with large wheel combos on their trucks.

I ran these tires and liked them. I have a 2/4 drop and never rubbed with a 8.5" wide wheel and a +18mm offset which gave me a 5" backspacing. Since you have a 9.5" wheel and +20 offset you should have a 5.5" backspacing which would put the outside of your tires in the same place mine were.

The rims that I got in were a 10mm which I thought were going to be a 20mm backspacing. So any ideas as far lowering the truck now with a 20x9.5 with 10mm backspacing?
