Question wheel advise

I bought new centreline snipers last spring

http://www.centerlinewheels.com/whee...id=14&sw_id=77

I got polished alum, not chrome and had them clear powdercoated when they were new, they looked great, I took em off for the winter and noticed the coating was starting to bubble.
Took them in to the guy who coated them for inspection and opinion on why the finish came off so soon. He just fiqures they need etching or primer to get it to stick to the polished surface, which is probably correct. He figures there is no sense re coating, so is going to strip and polish them, He had one finished today, looked awesome.
So, is there anything I can do with these rims to help keep a nice finish on them, Wax? Zoops? anything other than elbow grease?

Well if you have them clearcoated then just clean them pretty regular and put a good coat of wax on them. Washing them often probably makes the biggest difference IMO.

the clearcoat is being removed as it is bubbleing and peeling.

Was the clearcoat inside and out, 100% all over?

The clearcoat does not stick well to a polished finish. I had mine cleared, and I hope they turn out well. We will see....

I'm planning to use ZoopSeal on my polished wheels...as soon as I can get them polished to my satisfaction! If that doesn't work, I'm going chrome.

my wheels were cleared fully, inside and out, [Tiger was the brand used}
the guy is stripping them and re-polishing them[on his dime} I saw one finished yesterday and it was a stunning job, way better than the factory finish, that's why i want to try and find something to keep them that way. this is the second set of rims i
bought for this truck, the first were polished eagles but i just didn't have time to maintain them so i sold them and bought these and got them coated, but it didn't work out, oh well. should have bought chrome
i might try Zoops, any recommendations on wax?

the guy i got my rims from is a buddy of mine, he said to wash them with car soap not wheel or tire cleaner. and to use rain-x fast wax afterwards.
