Whats wrong with my shark fin antenna?

Default Whats wrong with my shark fin antenna?
See the attached pictures. It looks like this antenna should be on the driver's side, not the passenger's side (it leans "out"). Plus it has 3 wires vs. my stock one only had 1 wire.

The part number I got was 15194280.

What's the right antenna part number?

mine is the "older" body style that has the XM on the passengers side.....

that one looks like its off a NNBS. neither of the ones on my roof look like that one.

EDIT: maybe i dont follow but did you get a NNBS antenna and trying to get it to work on a NBS?

the older trucks that had a separate xm and onstar antenna

it looks like you have the combination xm and onstar antenna...its on the newer nbs and nnbs trucks

hmmm...k... yes this is off of an 06 because I didn't realize they ever went on the driver's side....

is there a correct part number for a shark fin antenna that will mount on the passenger's side and is XM only?

the brick shaped one is the xm-only antenna.

yeah... thanks... that does me no good (that's what came on the truck)....

I'm trying to get rid of the brick one that came on my truck from the factory. Is there not a shark fin one that goes on the passenger's side?
