Question What's a Good Price for this Work?

What is a good ballpark figure for hiring someone to do the following paint work (truck in sig):

1) Paint rear chrome bumper red
2) Paint front chrome bumper red
3) Paint front lower valence red
4) Paint chrome bar on front grille red

Yeah, I hate chrome. FYI, my front bumper cap is already painted red. I have also considered buying an aftermarket front valence that is paintable. Let me know what you think is reasonable. Thanks!

I'd say $400-$500 if you take them just what you want painted

That sounds about right to me. I know materials for a red paint job do cost a bit more. Also, I would make sure the chrome is completely stripped or blasted off if you want the paint to last on those bumpers and grille.

Call a shop up and see what they charge without your bumpers. They will price you for new steel bumpers that are not chromed. Check to see how much you can get for your chrome bumpers. I would think you will make out a lot better if your bumpers are in good shape.

when i put my rollpan on i sold my rear chrome bumper for 125 and im for you could get the same amount for the front.i would sell them and buy paintable bumpers and paintable grille.if you get them aftermarket they will be alot cheaper and paintable bumpers should be alot cheaper than chrome.red paint is about double the cost of any other color

Helpful advice. Thanks, guys. I am going to search some local junkyards for a paintable W/T rear bumper.

They make paintable FRONT bumpers for the 03-06 models? I've never seen that before.
